I have been a graphic designer since 1988, after completing the first graphic design course ever held in Canberra, at the Canberra Institute of Technology and the University of Canberra (known as the Canberra TAFE and Canberra College of Advanced Education back in those days). I started in web design and site management in 1995, working for the University of Melbourne's history of science project, Bright Sparcs, in the Academy of Science in Canberra.

Puzzle writing is something that has long fascinated me. I started to figure out how to create puzzles of all kinds, including cryptic crosswords, in the late 1980s.

I built my editing skills over many years, and completed advanced training in book indexing with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers in 2011. 

Since 2021 I have worked at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, so I am not always available for client work. However, it's worth dropping me an email to see if I have the capacity to work with you on your project.
