I have TWO Knitting Art shops. Here's how to choose which one to use :

CafePress - lots of stuff, USA based

My CafePress shop sells a wide range of merchandise, and is based in the USA. This merchandise is printed on demand, and international postage costs apply if you are outside of the USA. This is the shop to use if you live in the USA or Canada, or don't mind paying extra for international shipping costs. Prices in this shop are in US dollars.

KnittingArt.com.au - four cards, Australia based

Four of my designs (Pink Shawl, Casting On, Red Mug and Anticipation) are printed on blank cards, here in Australia. These cards are available from my new Knitting Art shop.

This is the shop to use if you're in Australia or New Zealand and want some inexpensive cards and quick delivery. Prices in this shop are in Australian dollars and include GST if you're in Australia. The Knitting Art shop includes a wholesale marketplace for shop owners, as well, including export wholesale sales.

I will have original paintings for sale soon, too, through the Knitting Art shop. Stay tuned!

In recent years knitting has become more than a sometimes pastime for me, and more of an obsession. I even have a knitting Blog, many projects on the go at once, a growing yarn stash, and am a keen member of our local Stitch'n Bitch knitting group.

Blue Willow

Is there anything more timeless than blue and white? I wanted to feature a classic Willow Ware tea cup in this painting, but didn't actually own one. I started to trawl through the local op shops, and was delighted to discover a cache of these sturdy British cups and saucers within only an hour!

The skein featured in this painting is gorgeously soft 2 ply laceweight hand-dyed wool, which is mostly a soft blue, with highlights in purple, blue-green, and greys. The Aero needle gauge is an old fashioned design which I also discovered in an op shop. The needles are, appropriately, Aero Knitting Pins.
